Our brand-new DA Techs mobile wheel workshop has just landed in Bristol – and what a fantastic start it’s been.

Our very first customer was Giani Porcaro, co-founder of Avanti Automotive. Giani had already been tempted by our free chocolate wheel offer, but what he didn’t expect was to be the regions very first client – and to walk away with a bottle of champagne to celebrate the occasion!

“We turn around a lot of cars and I need a reliable partner for wheel repairs,” said Giani. “The finish must be first-class and the price competitive, plus the convenience of same-day onsite service clinches it for me. I wish the team at DA Techs Bristol, Bath and Swindon every success.”

Chris Cook, MD of DA Techs Bristol, Bath & Swindon, added:

“Our dealership partners value presentation, speed and quality – and that’s exactly what our USA-built lathes deliver onsite. As a family-run business with deep roots in Bristol, Avanti Automotive is a perfect fit for us and we’re delighted to support their continued growth.”

Back in 2016, DA Techs became the first company in the UK to fit a diamond-cutting lathe into a van, creating the concept of a mobile wheel workshop. Since then, we’ve continued to invest in the very best equipment – the same technology you’d find in a high-end workshop – but built into vans that can travel to where our customers need us most.

Our vans can handle 95% of wheel repairs on the spot, delivering the same premium finish as a fixed-site facility, but with the added convenience of being right outside the dealership or fleet site. No waiting, no transporting cars back and forth – just fast, cost-effective, high-quality repairs that keep vehicles turning around quickly.

While we still operate one of the UK’s largest repair centres near Bolton – with capacity for up to 90 wheels at once – more and more clients want the speed and flexibility of onsite repairs. That’s why our fleet of mobile workshops now covers the North West, Cambridgeshire, and beyond, working with some of the UK’s biggest franchise dealer groups, D-Fleet sites, insurers and independents.

And now, with a dedicated local team in Bristol, Bath and Swindon (and Stratford-upon-Avon joining later this year), we’re excited to bring the future of alloy wheel repair right to your door.
