Everything you need to know about DA Techs

Whether you’re a private driver, car dealership, fleet manager, or have any interest in our mobile alloy wheel repair services, below you’ll find the answers to the most common questions we are asked.

From how long repairs take, to what makes our technology so advanced, here’s everything you need to know about how we deliver showroom-quality results on your doorstep.

Most alloy wheel repairs take between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the level of damage and wheel size.

Our technicians aim to complete all work same-day, so your car is back on the road looking its best within hours.

We’ll book you in for the soonest available appointment that suits your schedule.

For dealerships, fleets and corporate clients, we also offer regular weekly service slots. This ensures your wheels are always repaired promptly and stock stays ready to go.

Our mobile alloy wheel repairs typically start from £100 +VAT per wheel, depending on the size, finish and level of damage.

We’ll always provide a clear quotation before starting any work.

We specialise in both diamond-cut alloys and painted alloys, delivering factory-grade results using our exclusive Micro Lenco CNC lathe.

This is the most advanced mobile system in the UK, capable of handling wheels up to 23 inches, including large SUV and Range Rover wheels.

Whether your alloys are scuffed, scratched, or corroded, we can restore them to showroom standard on-site.

Absolutely. Our mobile wheel repair workshops are fully self-contained, meaning we can repair your alloys at your home, workplace, or dealership.

All we need is safe access to your vehicle and a suitable flat area to set up.

Yes, if your wheels are too severely damaged to repair on-site, we can collect them and send them to our factory workshop for more complex restoration.

However, around 95% of wheels can be repaired on-site, so we’ll virtually always have your car ready to drive within a few hours.

Our mobile workshops can complete almost all standard alloy wheel repairs, including:

  • Diamond-cut wheel refurbishment using our Micro Lenco CNC lathe.
  • Painted alloy repairs using OEM-grade coatings.
  • Kerb damage, corrosion and surface defects.

If a wheel is cracked, buckled, or otherwise unsafe, we’ll arrange to take it to our factory workshop for specific repairs.

Traditional factory refurbishment means sending wheels away for several days. This leads to significant transport costs, admin, inconvenience and vehicle downtime.

DA Techs eliminates that inconvenience. Our mobile wheel repair workshops deliver factory-quality repairs on-site, the same day.

It’s faster, safer, more convenient and significantly more cost-effective.

On average, each DA Techs van can repair between 10 and 15 wheels per day, depending on wheel size, finish and condition.

Our technicians always work as efficiently as possibly, without ever compromising on safety or quality.

Safety is built into everything we do. Our vans are fitted with air-fed mask systems, dust extraction units and controlled ventilation to ensure a clean, safe environment for technicians and customers alike.

Every technician is trained to DA Techs’ elite standards and follows strict HR and health and safety procedures, which are monitored from our HQ.

If our technician identifies that your wheel is too severely damaged to repair on-site, we’ll arrange for it to be sent to our factory workshop for specialist treatment.

There, our engineers can perform structural repairs, welding, or refinishing to bring the wheel back to OEM standard.

Once complete, we’ll return it to you as quickly as possible.
